I’ll always have a connection with Bombo Quarry. It’s an incredibly special place to me and whenever I visit I tend to get inspired in some way or another. Standing here recently before the raging sea, surrounded by the ancient basalt columns on a cold winters morning will always bring me a sense of comfort and ease for some reason. I find an indescribable sense of hope in this resilient place, despite everything, nature always finds a way. The most notable thing about Bombo to me is the violent yet beautiful relationship between the ocean and earth, an unrelenting battle that never stops.
