An eerie silence. The scorched landscape vents smoke as it fills the distant air. I remember this moment incredibly clearly. Whilst taking this image I realised what had happened, that may sound silly to some extent but I remember looking around and just taking a moment to reflect on what had actually happened to this once beautiful Australian landscape.
